Job summary

Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, part of Covenant Health, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for Oncology to join our night shift team. This full‑time role covers 72 hours per pay period and provides direct patient care under RN supervision.

As a CNA, you will perform ADL assistance, monitor vital signs, support treatments, and collaborate with care teams to ensure patient comfort and safety in a high‑acuity oncology setting.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required; Tennessee licensure required upon hire.
• CPR certification preferred or required by facility policy.
• Experience with basic patient care procedures and hospital terminology beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and basic measurements.
• Assist with ADLs and provide patient comfort under RN supervision.
• Support transport, nutrition distribution, and infection control practices.
• Document patient status and report significant changes to the RN.
• Assist in creating a safe and clean patient environment.
