Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Assistant for the Oncology Special Care Unit (WSCU) on nights, 7:00 pm–7:30 am. The 36-bed unit serves adults receiving chemotherapy and complex care; you will support licensed staff and patients in an acute oncology setting.

Candidates must be 18+, high school or equivalent, Nebraska CNA certification, BLS from an AHA-endorsed program, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Nebraska.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills.
• BLS certification from an AHA endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).

Responsibilities

• Certified Nursing Assistant: Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care.
