Texas Oncology is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join the Mansfield team on a full-time basis, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm, with no weekends or major holidays. The role supports clinical operations at the Mansfield location and offers growth with Level 1, 2, or Sr tracks based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have high school diploma, 0–3 years MA or CNA experience, BCLS within 3 months, and CMA preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent as required.
• 0-3 years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant (entry level).
• BCLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Level 2 requires minimum three years experience; Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Level Sr requires minimum five years experience; CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Record patient data prior to physician visits (vital signs, height, weight, allergies, meds).
• Obtain patient records as required by physician.
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms; order supplies.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
• Administer injections as delegated by RN or physician.
• Maintain disinfection protocols in exam/treatment rooms.
• Handle patient calls and communicate with physicians/Nurses.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred

BCLS certification within 3 months of hire

Current CPR certification (Sr level)
