Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Accredited Medical Assistant program completed.
• CMA certification from a recognized certifying body.
• BLS/Heartsaver CPR AED certification with renewal.
• 1–2 years of clinical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with patient examinations and procedures.
• Record patient vitals, medical history, and medications in EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are ready.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Perform routine lab tests and specimen collection.
• Schedule appointments, referrals, and follow-ups.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Handle patient inquiries and maintain accurate records.
