Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL seeks an Investigational Drug Services (IDS) Pharmacist Specialist to oversee drug distribution for investigational medications used in clinical trials and to participate in trial start-up, feasibility, and creation/maintenance of standardized order sets within Cerner PowerChart/PharmNet.

The IDS clinical specialist assists investigators with protocol and pharmacy manual development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Licensed Pharmacist (RPh/PS) required.
• CITI Certification (GCP, human subjects research, conflicts of interest) or BCOP; PGY2 residents must obtain BPS within 12 months of hire.
• Excellent communications and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drug distribution for investigational medications in clinical trials.
• Assist in clinical trial start-up, feasibility, and protocol development.
• Develop/maintain standardized order sets within Cerner PowerChart/PharmNet.
• Review IDS fee schedule and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the clinical research team to provide complex patient care in line with CFR and GCP.
