Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our clinical team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will handle refill requests, patient communications, and preparation of prescriptions including investigational medications in clinical trials.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, an accredited tech training or licensure, and at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program or licensure per Florida Statutes.
• At least 2 years as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) with relevant experience.
• Experience with pharmacy automation software, EHRs, and inventory systems.

Responsabilités

• Initiate or receive communications with patient, provider and team to facilitate care.
• Assist in refill authorizations and patient appointment reviews.
• Process prescriptions, including investigational medications per CFR and GCP.
• Assist with compounding, preparation, and distribution of medications.
• Maintain records and generate required reports; manage inventory.
