Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, seeks an experienced RN to oversee nursing services in the UH-Clinic SCC Clin Trials Unit. The role includes supervision, patient care management, and ensuring adherence to standards.

Requires ADN, 5 years of general nursing experience with at least 1 year supervisory; Texas RN licensure and BLS at hire; BSN preferred. Day shift, full-time schedule, on-site work.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience: 5 years of general nursing to include 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: RN Licensure in Texas and BLS at hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and/or teaches others specialized knowledge and skills to perform techniques and routines in area of specialty.
• Provides operational management of daily patient care services.
• Assesses, monitors, and evaluates systems for delivery of care.
• Assists in development of patient care standards of practice and personnel performance.
