Job summary

Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor seeks a Research Nurse for the Cancer Center’s Clinic Research Group within the Oncology Clinical Trials Support Unit. You will coordinate oncology trials, manage nuclear medicine studies, and ensure protocol compliance while delivering patient-centered nursing care.

The role requires strong organization, teamwork, and knowledge of GCP/ICH and FDA standards, with both outpatient and inpatient duties and occasional evening hours.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements above: RN degree or higher with MI licensure.
• RN with 3+ years in inpatient/infusion/oncology outpatient settings.
• 2 years in clinical trials or hematology/oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex oncology clinical trials with investigators and teams.
• Support nuclear medicine trials and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Study visits scheduling, protocol adherence, and patient care.
• Provide education to patients and staff on trial participation.
• Maintain quality improvement initiatives and cross-coverage as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Associate degree or diploma in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Michigan

Three or more years of RN experience in inpatient/infusion/oncology outpatient

Two years of clinical trials or two years of Hematology/Oncology experience
