Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics, based in Cambridge/Boston, MA, is seeking a Clinical Scientist to represent and lead regional clinical development for assigned programs. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure scientific issues are addressed for complex data, shaping development plans to support regulatory approval across regions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PharmD/PhD with clinical research or clinical development experience.
• Strong communication, strategic, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
• Clear concise communication; proactive issue prediction and problem-solving.
• Ability to drive decisions in multidisciplinary, multi-regional matrix teams; diplomacy and influencing.
• Therapeutic area knowledge and regulatory requirements (GCP/ICH).

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical development teams and align US/EU activities with global strategy.
• Develop program deliverables: Development Strategy, CDP sections, and Protocols.
• Recommend program scope/complexity and influence budget.
• Evaluate development strategy and contingency planning.
• Monitor and interpret study data; support high-impact go/no-go decisions.
• Create governance approvals for synopsis/protocol development and study interpretation.
• Lead protocol synopsis completion and regulatory documentation responses.
