Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Research is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator, RN to support daily activities of oncology and urology clinical trials in Myrtle Beach. You will oversee protocol adherence, patient interaction, data collection, and GCP compliance.

Responsibilities include sponsor communications, site monitoring, form creation, staff training, patient screening, informed consent, SAE reporting, and closeout activities, while maintaining documentation and meeting deadlines in a

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• RN license in state practicing.
• Clinical research experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with Study Sponsors, CROs, staff regarding questions and protocol status.
• Monitor day-to-day conduct of studies per protocol, SOPs, and GCP to ensure integrity.
• Create or revise forms to assure protocol compliance.
• Maintain files with standardized labeling and filing procedures.
• Implement initial protocol and amendments; train staff involved in treatment and management.
• Maintain an up-to-date contact list.
• Assist with patient screening and eligibility determinations.
• Facilitate informed consent process.
• Prepare and manage source documents per SOPs.
• Address deviations with leadership to prevent recurrence.
• Assist data coordinator with CRF completion and query resolution.
• Collaborate with PI to complete SAE reports.
• Perform protocol-specific closeout activities with data coordinator.
• Provide documentation for all deviations; ensure team adherence to protocols.
• Perform telephone triage assessments of trial patients.
• Provide patient education on trial participation and potential side effects.
