Job summary

University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support the Oncology Clinical Trial team at Dell Medical School. The role requires coordinating trials, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing data, and communicating with study participants and sponsors.

The CRC will work under the PI’s direction, ensuring accurate documentation, participant safety, and timely study activities while collaborating with clinicians, research staff, and external sponsors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field and 3+ years of clinical research coordination or human-subjects research experience (screening, consent, visit coordination, data entry, IRB submissions).
• Master’s degree and CCR/CCRC or equivalent certification are preferred.
• Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of clinical trials under PI direction.
• Maintain regulatory binders and ensure compliant document management.
• Recruit, screen, consent, and schedule study participants.
• Enter and verify trial data, generate reports, and manage electronic data capture systems.
• Communicate progress and issues to the PI and sponsors; collaborate with team.
