Intermountain Health Cancer Center at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the cancer center team. The role focuses on comprehensive medication management, verification of complex treatment plans, sterile compounding operations, and providing medication expertise across caregivers and patients.

This is a part-time, 32-hour/week position with daytime shifts. The pharmacist will support safe, evidence-based practices, counseling, and regulatory compliance

Qualifikationen

• Degree and licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of practice.
• Current knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Effective communication, people management, and project management skills.
• Immunization certification, if applicable to practice site needs.

Aufgaben

• Verify and oversee preparation of hazardous and nonhazardous sterile preparations.
• Review oncology treatment plans in Epic Beacon and verify dosing and parameters.
• Document clinical reviews and support safe, timely treatment.
• Counsel patients and ensure medication education and adherence.
• Ensure regulatory training and compliance; maintain SOPs and policies.
• Supervise interns, technicians, and support staff; provide clinical consultation.
• Identify process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
• Support department and system directives and leadership initiatives.
