Job summary

MedStar Health in the Baltimore area seeks a Provider Informaticist I to serve as the clinical informatics educator, consultant, leader and researcher for information systems. The role focuses on ambulatory Oncology and requires RN with oncology experience to advance clinical informatics initiatives.

You will lead training, develop educational strategies, evaluate clinical information systems, and collaborate with clinicians to implement new technologies while ensuring compliance with standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree in Informatics or Information Management preferred.
• One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinical informatics educator and champion for information systems initiatives.
• Lead the planning development implementation maintenance evaluation and training of clinical information systems.
• Act as MMG liaison and project manager for information system initiatives and ensure adoption of clinical applications.
