Job summary

The RN Clinical Nurse provides patient-centered, specialized, evidence-based nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach to treatment, research, education, and advocacy. The RN contributes to high-quality outcomes and collaborates with care teams to promote safety and compassionate care.

The role supports 12-hour day shifts with weekend and holiday rotation, requiring ongoing certification in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC per department needs.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
• ACLS within 6 months for certain departments.
• PALS within 6 months for certain ED roles.
• TNCC within 18 months if ED experience <1 year; 12 months if >1 year.
• ENPC within 18 months for <1 year ED experience; 12 months if >1 year.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and evidence-based practice to assess patient needs and develop a care plan with the interprofessional team.
• Plans for patient care needs in collaboration with the team to provide high-quality outcomes.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise and performs all RN duties age-appropriate and culturally sensitive.
• Identifies ways to improve patient experience, streamline care, and lower costs while maintaining quality.
• Contributes to a professional environment that encourages mentoring, engagement, and growth.
• Provides consultation and maintains positive relationships with physicians and other team members.
