Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per approved nursing techniques and policy.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.
• Documents care according to standards of care.
• Develops and executes a patient care plan including education for patient and family.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and shared governance.
• Supports patient safety and escalates concerns through the proper chain of command.
