Job summary

The Los Angeles Cancer Network in Orange, California seeks an experienced Clinic Manager to oversee daily operations of the oncology physician practice. You will support clinical and administrative teams, drive efficient workflows, and ensure top-notch patient experiences.

The ideal candidate has leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with prior supervision experience in medical settings and oncology/hematology exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's in healthcare administration preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in medical office management, healthcare operations, or related supervisory role preferred.
• Oncology or hematology practice experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical office workflows, insurance processes, and healthcare compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality patient service.
• Supervise, train, and support administrative and front-office staff.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments to support practice operations.
• Monitor patient scheduling, registration, check-in, check-out, and related administrative processes.
• Support effective communication and collaboration among physicians, clinical staff, administrative teams, and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy and security requirements and other healthcare regulations.
• Assist with monitoring operational performance and implementing process improvements.
• Support revenue cycle activities, including insurance verification, authorizations, billing coordination, and patient account inquiries.
• Monitor office supplies, equipment, and other operational resources.
• Address patient concerns and operational issues professionally and promptly.
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates to leadership regarding staffing, productivity, and office performance.
• Support organizational initiatives and other projects as assigned.
