Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN License in State of Oregon.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1+ years of oncology, acute care, or related nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, patient education, and care coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical triage via phone, portal, and in-person visits using evidence-based protocols.
• Assess, document, and communicate patient-reported symptoms; escalate urgent issues to providers and enter orders as needed.
• Initiate supportive care interventions under established protocols or provider direction.
• Reinforce education on treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and oral oncology agents.
• Educate patients and families about side effects and escalation guidelines; support navigating care plans.
