Job summary

Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program and licensed as an LPN in South Carolina or a compact state; current American Heart Association BLS certification is required. This hourly, 40-hour weekly position is at the Medical University of South Carolina Greenville Timeshare Clinic.

As part of the MUSC team, you will assist with examinations and procedures, document vital signs, and coordinate with the care team to support patient-centered care in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program.
• Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient- and family-centered care to support optimal health care management.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures; document findings and vital signs in the medical record.
• Assist medical staff with exams and procedures and document appropriately.
• Maintain examination rooms and collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
