Job summary

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients, checks them in and completes registration, verifying demographics and insurance.
• Collects service payments and processes payments as required.
• Performs insurance verifications and authorizations; obtains signatures on consent and waiver forms.
• Scans pertinent information into the patient record and answers calls or faxes.
• Schedules appointments, coordinates nurse/physician/patient time, and guides patients to services.
