Job summary

Christie Clinic's University clinic in Champaign, IL seeks a full-time RN - Chemotherapy for Hematology-Oncology. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, no nights or weekends; sign-on bonus available.

You will administer chemotherapy, coordinate care, and ensure patient safety in a busy oncology suite. Required Illinois RN license, 2-year degree, and ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy provider card (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Evidence of annual health-related courses/seminars.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatment per nursing standards.
• Prepare equipment and aid provider during treatment/examination.
• Observe and report patient’s condition and reaction to treatment.
• Act as liaison between patient and provider regarding concerns.
• Instruct patient and family regarding medication and treatment instructions.
• Demonstrate triage capability using nursing assessment.
• Administer IVs for chemotherapy/phlebotomy.
• Perform related duties as required.
