Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician to perform basic patient care activities under the supervision of an RN. This part-time, day shift role supports the care team, adheres to health, safety and privacy regulations, and contributes to high‑quality patient experiences.

The position requires a high school diploma, CPR certification within 60 days, and successful completion of EKG and Phlebotomy training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Successful completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses on hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Take blood glucose measurements and document intake/output.
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic care.
• Perform EKGs and Phlebotomy per policy and training.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
• Attend required in-services and contribute to quality improvement.
