Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Oncology Services Unit Coordinator to support the Chemotherapy & Infusion Outpatient Service. You will coordinate patient registration and scheduling, perform Epic Cadence scheduling, and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure smooth workflows.

The role involves maintaining patient records, communicating with departments for authorizations, and providing front-desk support and chart management.

Qualifications

• Experience with Epic Cadence scheduling and Epic Prelude registration.
• Strong software literacy and computer skills.
• GED or high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains required information for registration and scheduling of outpatients for Chemotherapy & Infusion services.
• Completes the Epic Registration process and verifies patient demographics.
• Enters insurance information and screens Medicare requirements.
• Collaborates with Financial aid, authorizations and charity care for treatment verification.
• Maintains MSK patient transfusion records and coordinates with clinical staff.
• Answers phones, greets patients, checks in/out and maintains charts.
