Penn Medicine in Philadelphia seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join the patient care team. The CNA supports the nurse, assists with data collection, and helps patients and families, delivering compassionate, quality care under supervision.

You will participate in rounds, maintain safety, follow infection control practices, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a smooth discharge plan.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a certified nursing assistant program.
• CNA certification by PA state required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilités

• Receive shift report from the RN and relay patient care information.
• Document patient data, such as vital signs, intake/output, and observations.
• Assist with patient assessment and data collection under RN supervision.
• Promote infection control and ensure patient safety; monitor for falls and changes in condition.
• Support activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility, and comfort as directed by the RN.
• Assist with discharge planning and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.

Formation

H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)

Graduate of a certified nursing assistant program

CNA Certification by the State of Pennsylvania

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / CPR certification
