Job summary

Messino Cancer Centers, part of American Oncology Partners, PA, seeks an APR/PA to support physicians in oncology care on-site. The role includes patient assessment, prescribing under protocols, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include an accredited NP/PA program with Master’s degree, state APRN/PA license, and 5+ years of oncology experience. On-call duties and ongoing professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant program; Master’s degree required.
• APRN or PA license in appropriate state; prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply; current BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and psychosocial status of patients.
• Write prescriptions per protocols and follow-up studies.
• Determine eligibility for clinical trials.
• Conduct daily multi-disciplinary rounds and on-call coverage.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.
• Assist in training new employees and support care continuity.
