Job summary

American Oncology Network is seeking an experienced APRN or PA for an on-site role in Central Georgia (Warner Robins area). You will assist physicians, conduct patient assessments, prescribe therapy, and coordinate multidisciplinary care.

Clinically-focused responsibilities include trials screening and timely documentation. Requires graduate-level NP/PA training, a current state license with prescriptive authority, and ANCC/ONS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant program.
• Master’s degree required.
• APRN or PA license in appropriate state; prescriptive privileges.
• Current certification from ANCC or ONS (AOCN-P).
• Current BLS.
• Minimum 5 years experience as APRN or PA, specifically in Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in patient care and teaching.
• Assess patients via history, exam, and diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per protocols.
• Determine eligibility for clinical trials and interpret tests.
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary rounds and hospital follow-ups.
• Provide on-call coverage and hospital rounds as needed.
