Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Master’s degree required.
• APRN or PA license in appropriate state with prescriptive privileges.
• Current ANCC or ONS certification.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and psychosocial status of patients.
• Write prescriptions for medications and blood products based on labs.
• Determine eligibility for clinical trials.
• Participate in daily multi-disciplinary rounds and rounds when needed.
• Provide on-call coverage and hospital rounds as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
