University of Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for Ambulatory Care Services at the Brighton Center for Specialty Care, Rogel Cancer Center in Ann Arbor. The RN will deliver team-based oncology nursing, manage clinic flow, administer therapies, and educate patients and families, with emphasis on safe chemotherapy administration and post-op care.

We expect Michigan licensure, 3+ years RN experience, and at least 1 year oncology RN recent experience; BSN and OCN are desirable.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Michigan
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 1 year of oncology RN experience within the last five years
• BSN and OCN certification are desired qualifications

Responsabilités

• Provide culturally sensitive, team-based care for oncology patients
• Document nursing care accurately
• Manage clinic flow and triage high acuity patients
• Administer chemo and manage related therapies and port maintenance
• Educate patients and families on oncology treatments and care
