Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia (UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper) seeks a Program Manager for Oncology and Ambulatory Imaging to oversee quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient safety initiatives across multiple sites.

You will coordinate data analysis, education programs, and accreditation readiness, working with cross-functional teams to drive performance and readiness for surveys and regulatory reviews.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Two years of project management, quality or regulatory experience required; project management, quality or regulatory experience preferred.
  • Experience or training in principles of quality improvement and regulatory compliance preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and experience in utilizing work processing, spreadsheets, and clinical systems/databases required.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, overseeing and evaluating regional institutional or statewide health education programs.
  • Outreach to build the cancer service line and ambulatory imaging referrals base.
  • Leading teams to develop programmatic growth utilizing strategic planning principles.
  • Collaborate with administrators, managers, physicians to identify and enhance strategic clinical issues via Be Safe problem solving.
  • Support workgroups with planning, facilitation, task execution, and communication support.
  • Prepare and share reports with leadership to review status, issues and barriers.
  • Develop action plans to drive improvement of patient care, treatment and services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide education on standards.
