Job summary

Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Rogel Cancer Center Blue Team Float in an ambulatory care setting. This full-time role supports oncology patients, triage, therapy education, and coordination with infusion, scheduling and labs.

The nurse will document accurately in the EHR, provide patient and family education, and adapt to unit needs while maintaining a high standard of care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
• Minimum of 3 years of oncology RN experience within the last five years.
• Note: must meet all required qualifications prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive, age-specific team-based nursing care for Rogel Cancer Center Blue Team.
• Accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care.
• Triage/assessment of high acuity patients and education on therapies and procedures.
• Manage port maintenance and collaborate with infusion, scheduling, and lab management.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, prioritize care, and maintain accountability.
