Job summary

Duke University Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Johnston Hematology Oncology Clinic team in Smithfield, NC. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive hematology/oncology care, participating in clinical trials, and educating patients. Preferred candidates will have a nursing or physician assistant background with relevant oncology experience. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with rotational on-call duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current RN licensure & NP approval in North Carolina.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ years of experience as an APP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical practice under physician supervision.
• Engage in Quality Improvement Program initiatives.
• Participate in educational program design and execution.
• Promote and engage in research compliance.
