Job summary

Duke University is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Duke Cancer Network at the Johnston Hematology Oncology Clinic in Clayton, NC. The successful candidate will provide hematology/oncology care, participate in clinical trials, and engage in patient education while collaborating with a dedicated team.

This role requires a Master's degree in Nursing or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, along with relevant experience. Flexible Monday-Friday schedule and rotational on-call responsibilities included.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's degree in Nursing for Nurse Practitioners.
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program is essential.
• 1+ years of APP experience strongly preferred, with oncology experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical practice and patient care management.
• Maintain prescriptive authority in alignment with regulations.
• Develop and implement Quality Improvement Program initiatives.
• Participate in the design and execution of educational programs.
• Engage in research in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with orientation of new providers and special projects.
