Job summary

The Ohio State University James | Cancer Supportive Care is seeking an Oncofertility Nurse Program Coordinator (RN) to serve as the primary liaison between patients, oncology teams, oncofertility providers, and external REI clinics. You will provide direct patient education and oversee referral pathways, scheduling, and record transfers to ensure timely fertility care during cancer treatment.

This role also collaborates with social work and financial counseling to assist patients with insurance

Qualifications

BSN with active RN license required.
0 years of relevant experience required.
2 years of relevant experience preferred, esp. oncology, women’s health, reproductive endocrinology, or AYA care.
Experience in fertility and reproductive health support and conversations preferred.
Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary liaison between patients, oncology teams, oncofertility providers, and external REI clinics.
Provide direct patient education and information on fertility preservation during cancer care.
Oversee standardized referral pathways, scheduling, and patient record transfer.
Coordinate with social work and financial counseling to assist with insurance resources.
Develop patient education materials and contribute to program administration.
