Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks an Oncofertility Nurse Program Coordinator (RN) to support fertility preservation services within OSUCCC–James. The role serves as liaison among patients, oncology teams, and REI clinics, coordinating referrals, scheduling, records transfer, and education to ensure timely fertility care for patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Qualifications

• BSN with an active RN license.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred in oncology, women's health, REI, or AYA care.
• Experience in developing programming and group facilitation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; project administration experience.
• Familiarity with fertility grants and financial advocacy helpful.
• Knowledge of university/hospital policies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between patients, oncology teams, oncofertility providers, and REI clinics.
• Manage referral pathways, scheduling, and patient record transfer.
• Provide patient education and logistical support for fertility care navigation.
• Coordinate with social work and financial counseling for resources.
• Support program development, training, and outreach initiatives.
• Track data, outcomes, and participate in committee activities.
• Contribute to proposal development, budgeting, and evaluation.
