Job summary

Qualifications

• RN with minimum 3 years of oncology experience.
• Strong knowledge of oncology chemotherapy protocols and long-term follow-up guidelines.
• Highly organized with strong communication, coordination, and patient education skills.
• CPHON or CPON certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records to create oncology treatment summaries and long-term follow-up plans.
• Coordinate weekly multidisciplinary Survivor Clinic visits and educate patients/families about late effects and screening.
• Serve as the point person between oncology providers, APPs, endocrinology, neuro-oncology, social work, mental health, rehab, nutrition, research and other team members.
• Support IRB approved Survivor Registry research.
• Counsel patients/families about treatment-related fertility risks and preservation options.
• Coordinate fertility preservation interventions and collaborate with outside institutions to facilitate care.
• Support IRB approved reproductive tissue freezing studies.
