Responsibilities

• Manage the full onboarding process for pass-through employees from introduction to completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees throughout onboarding, providing guidance and support.
• Track onboarding progress and proactively follow up on documentation or requirements.
• Keep clients informed of onboarding status and confirm when employees are cleared to begin work.
• Maintain accurate employee information and onboarding documentation across internal systems.
• Coordinate with recruiting, payroll, HR, and account management teams to ensure a smooth experience.
• Transition employees into the general talent pool when assignments end and coordinate with recruiters for opportunities.
• Provide high level customer service to employees and clients.
• Identify onboarding issues or delays and escalate quickly when necessary.

Job description

The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the onboarding experience for PCG's pass-through employee population, ensuring a seamless process for both employees and clients. This role serves as the primary point of contact throughout onboarding and requires strong communication, organization, follow-through, and comfort working across multiple technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full onboarding process for pass-through employees from initial introduction through completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees throughout onboarding, providing clear communication, guidance, and support.
• Track onboarding progress and proactively follow up on outstanding documentation or requirements.
• Keep clients informed of onboarding status and confirm when employees are fully cleared and ready to begin work.
• Maintain accurate employee information and onboarding documentation across internal systems.
• Coordinate closely with recruiting, payroll, HR, and account management teams to ensure a smooth employee experience.
• When assignments end, transition employees into the general talent pool and coordinate with recruiters to identify additional employment opportunities.
• Provide a high level of customer service to both employees and clients.
• Identify onboarding issues or delays and elevate them quickly when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred. Recent graduates with a strong interest in building a career in HR are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Tech savvy and comfortable learning new technology quickly, with the ability to manage work accurately across multiple systems and platforms simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple employees at different stages of the onboarding process.
• Customer-service mindset with the ability to communicate professionally with employees and clients.
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities.

Pay: $25/hr
