Job summary

EXOS in Phoenix is seeking a personable Onboarding Specialist to join the People Operations team in a hybrid role. You will build relationships with new hires, serve as the primary point of contact, coordinate pre-employment checks, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience from offer to first day.

You will collaborate with hiring managers and payroll to set up records in the HRM system, create electronic files, and handle routine tasks with accuracy.

Job Summary:We’re seeking a personable and detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to join the Exos People Operations team! This is a hybrid role, based in the Phoenix, AZ, reporting to the People Operations Business Partner & Onboarding Manager.Responsibilities:Develop a relationship with each new hire to facilitate their cultural assimilation.Serve as the key point of contact for each new hire and triage all questions that arise.Work collaboratively with hiring managers to on-board all new employees.Send out offer letters and employment agreements, set up required pre-employmenttesting/checks and track results (i.e. background, drug, SSA, NSOR, I-9), and send confirmation emails to hiring managers that new hires can begin working.Enter all new hires into payroll.Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to accurately classify and set-up each new hire in the HRM System.Create electronic employee files for all employees.Other tasks as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related fieldStrong customer service skillsHighly organizedAbility to take ownership and responsibility for tasks and assignments to meet deadlines - you perform well under pressure!Excellent verbal and written communication skillsHard working and energetic personalitySolid understanding of Microsoft Office softwareA passion for sports, fitness, or a high-performance lifestyle is a plus!Detail-oriented problem solving skillsThink you're a good fit?
