Onboarding & Sales Specialist

Knack is a low-code platform used by thousands of customers — from non-profits to the world’s biggest companies — to easily build custom apps, workflows, and databases.

We’re seeking an energetic and driven SMB Sales & Onboarding Specialist focused on small to mid-sized businesses to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll combine your expertise in consultative selling with hands-on onboarding to ensure our SMB customers are set up for success from day one. You’ll work closely with prospective customers during the sales cycle, guide them through onboarding, and ensure a smooth transition to our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  1. SMB Sales
  2. Engage with SMB prospects to understand their needs and pain points.
  3. Conduct product demonstrations tailored to their use case.
  4. Manage the sales cycle from outreach to closing, ensuring timely follow-ups and clear communication.
  5. Achieve or exceed sales targets monthly and quarterly.
  6. Collaborate with marketing to nurture leads through campaigns and outreach.
  1. Onboarding & Implementation
  2. Serve as the primary contact during onboarding.
  3. Conduct onboarding sessions to ensure customers understand how to use the platform effectively.
  4. Configure customer accounts to meet their specific needs.
  5. Address challenges proactively to minimize time-to-value.
  6. Help develop onboarding materials like guides, tutorials, and FAQs.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  2. Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams for feature improvements.
  3. Contribute to sales and customer success strategies to drive growth and retention.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in SMB sales, onboarding, customer success, or related roles.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude to learn and explain complex products.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and onboarding platforms.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Experience with SaaS, no-code/low-code platforms, or software training is preferred.
  • Familiarity with onboarding tools like Intercom, Drift, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
