Job summary

Adyen is seeking a hands-on CDD Risk Analyst to join our Direct Customer Onboarding team in San Francisco. You will execute KYC/CDD/EDD, review documentation, and advise on risk-based decisions while collaborating with cross-functional partners.

The role emphasizes scalable processes, automation, and data-driven analysis, with travel up to 10% and a strong emphasis on integrity and clear communication in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Customer Due Diligence/Enhanced Due Diligence/KYC.
• Knowledgeable of payment risk concepts.
• Strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
• Curious and able to think outside the box.
• Affinity for AI and automation to streamline workflows.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and diverse teams.
• Clear communicator with strong team spirit.
• Analytical and risk-based thinking.

Responsibilities

• Execute KYC, CDD, and Enhanced Due Diligence procedures.
• Collect and analyze customer information and document changes to entities/policies.
• Perform KYC checks and verify documentation, iterating on the process flow.
• Guide merchants and be the first point of contact for onboarding.
• Advocates for product/process improvements and automation.
• Serve as internal advisor for questions within NA team and local office.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistent risk assessments.
