Job summary

State Street is seeking an Associate II to join the mutual fund trading team in a role focused on onboarding new key clients to our unit dealing service and contributing to testing our mutual fund trading platform.

You will develop an understanding of trading infrastructure, work with cross-functional teams, and help implement new functionality while meeting daily deadlines and maintaining procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years’ experience in financial services industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of existing mutual fund trading infrastructure and business processes.
  • Assist with client conversions/start-ups of new client relationships.
  • Work autonomously in a fast-moving, complex technical environment.
  • Build relationships with colleagues across multiple functional groups.
  • Assist with business requirements, testing, and implementing new functionality on our trading application in coordination with management team, clients, IT, and the vendor.
  • Research and resolve inquiries for clients, trading partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all team deliverables are met within assigned deadlines, document and update procedures and team checklists, ensure adherence to SOPs.
  • Assist with client reporting and client projects.
  • Analyze internal processes and look to automate, reduce risk, and streamline workflows.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
3+ years’ experience in financial services industry

What you will be responsible for

As Unit Dealing Associate II you will

Salary Range:

$41,600 - $66,560 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
