Job summary

SpaceX in Memphis is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to deliver a high-quality welcome experience to new hires. You will coordinate logistics, protect data integrity, and partner with HR and site teams to ensure a smooth start.

Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, excel at multi-tasking, and communicate effectively. Experience with HRIS, onboarding tools, and related processes is a plus; relocation may be required for local candidates.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience in marketing, human resources, customer service, or an administrative capacity.
• Experience with HR, recruiting, and onboarding is preferred.
• Experience working daily in applicant tracking and HR information systems.
• Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless onboarding from offer acceptance
• Schedule and prepare weekly new hire orientation across sites
• Communicate with internal stakeholders on status of new hires
• Verify employment eligibility of new hires
• Evaluate and improve onboarding processes
• Provide timely responses to new hire questions
• Track and order onboarding supplies
• Collaborate to source development resources as needed

ONBOARDING COORDINATOR

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical employee Onboarding Coordinator to join our team. In this role your contributions will ensure that the employee onboarding team can consistently and quickly provide a high-quality and engaging welcoming experience to SpaceX new hires. Your efforts will also help maximize the employee onboarding team's potential and impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that new hires have a seamless onboarding experience from the moment they have accepted an offer
• Schedule and prepare for weekly new hire orientation across all sites
• Communicate with all internal stakeholders regarding the status of new hires
• Verify the employmenteligibilityof all new hires
• Evaluate current processes and implement improvements to streamline our onboarding experience
• Provide outstanding service to our new hires by responding in a timely manner to their questions
• Track, maintain, and order onboarding supplies as needed
• Work collaboratively with other team members to activelysourcenew development resourcesas needed based onrequests from fellow team members, the HR team, or people managers
• Perform other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of professional experience in marketing, human resources, customer service, or an administrative capacity

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with HR, recruiting, and/or onboarding
• Experience working daily in applicant tracking and human resources information systems
• Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to appropriately prioritize tasks
• Ability to learn quickly on the joband work in a dynamic organization with rapidly changing needs
• High level of self-motivation, initiative, and sense of urgencyto get things done
• Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Familiarity with Greenhouse and Workday a plus

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• This is not a remote position and will require relocation if not already local to the Memphis, TN area
• Position occasionally requires the ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
