Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking an Onboarding & Compliance Specialist to manage full-cycle onboarding for new hires in a fast-paced home care environment. You will be the primary contact, guiding new employees and ensuring timely completion of tasks using Workday and WellSky.

Responsibilities include orientation, credential tracking, audits, data maintenance, reporting, and supporting HR, operations and field staff in a compliant onboarding experience. Hybrid work flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in HR administration, onboarding, compliance, or a related role (home care or healthcare environment preferred).
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and scheduling platforms (WellSky experience a plus).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding Coordination: manage full-cycle onboarding for new hires using Workday and serve as primary point of contact.
• Orientation Management: create, schedule, and facilitate engaging virtual orientation sessions.
• Compliance & Credential Management: track certifications/licenses; notify expirations; upload docs in WellSky.
• Data & Systems Management: input and audit data in Workday and WellSky; generate reports.
• Employee Engagement & Support: provide high-touch service to new hires and staff; liaise between HR, operations and field staff.
