Job summary

Intercare Therapy is hiring a Field Readiness Coach in Los Angeles, CA. You will guide new Behavior Interventionists from onboarding through field readiness, coaching, and evaluation to ensure they are prepared for client work, whether at schools or in-home settings.

The role emphasizes mentoring, structured coaching, and collaboration with the Field Readiness Manager to maintain cohort health and consistent training outcomes. Requires a BA/BS in a related field and ABA experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, education, psychology, or related field is required.
• Experience coaching or training others is preferred.
• Experience working with children in ABA or school services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned new hires.
• Provide structured 1:1 coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
• Facilitate onboarding training for new hire Behavior Interventionists, including role plays and competency opportunities.
• Conduct mock sessions and readiness checks, scoring performance.
• Document skill progression, competency, and confidence, and give clear, actionable feedback.
• Collaborate with other coaches to ensure cohort health and continuity from training to case assignment.
