Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join the onboard culinary team. The role focuses on preparing desserts, cakes and pastries for restaurant menus, while maintaining high safety and sanitation standards aboard a ship.

You will train crew in pastry preparation and oversee showpieces, dietary considerations, and kitchen operations as directed by DCL leadership. A minimum five years pastry experience and English fluency are required, with willingness to live/work at sea.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English written and spoken.
• Minimum five years of pastry chef experience or as pastry chef de partie.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Pastry Chef with menus onboard.
• Prepare desserts, cakes and pastries for restaurant menus.
• Instruct crew in pastry prep and show pieces.
• Oversee kitchen opening/closing procedures and sanitation compliance.
• Monitor allergy and dietary training for pastry staff.
