Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking a Pastry Chef for the 2026 season aboard our intimate ships with onboard living quarters. You will craft a wide range of desserts, breads, and pastries, and continually test new recipes to delight guests and crew.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or pastry & baking or 3–5 years of quality production experience, with strong organizational and taste-sense skills. TWIC and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or pastry & baking or 3–5 years of quality production experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve items per procedures, recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Set up, maintain, and break down station per FDA standards.
• Taste products to assess quality.
• Notify Executive Chef of shortages or equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate counts of baked goods and inventory.
• Schedule production of all baked goods.
