Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks Engineers for our growing fleet, responsible for the operation, maintenance, and safe performance of ship propulsion, auxiliary, and onboard systems on our vessels. You will work closely with the Captain, Hotel Officers, and Service Crew to deliver five-star guest service while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Engagement is full-time, with a demanding schedule, including onboard duty 7 days per week and year-round season rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel machinery, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• TWIC – Transportation Worker Identification Card.
• Pre-employment drug test and ongoing random testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot shipboard machinery and systems.
• Provide 24-hour response to technical issues and emergencies.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with ship team and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
