Job summary

Hornblower Group's City Cruises US in Norfolk seeks a Bartender to mix high-quality beverages and provide prompt service at guest and service bars aboard our vessel. You will be hospitable, knowledgeable about the vessel and skyline, and adhere to safety and service standards.

Use the RESPECT Service System to deliver outstanding hospitality, follow recipes, handle orders and payments, and assist guests with menu details and cruise routes. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of beverage recipes is essential.
• Strong customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow recipes and manage beverage presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers aboard the vessel.
• Follow beverage recipes and maintain knowledge of offerings and prices.
• Deliver prompt bar service to guests and servers across the cruise.
• Set up and break down bar according to par specifications and SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of bar and service areas.
