Job summary

CMT Services, Inc. is seeking an OnBase Developer with senior experience to perform software development, support, and testing services in a remote work environment for the University of Maryland Global Campus, Adelphi, MD.

This 1-year period position reports to the Director, Enterprise Document Management. The role involves extending the OnBase Platform, automating processes, developing APIs, and delivering training materials to support new and revised business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science (or equivalent) with 3+ years OnBase development/configuration experience.
• Proficiency in OnBase workflow/configuration, SQL, .NET/C#/JavaScript; experience with APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Strong process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation abilities; experience supporting end-users and creating training materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide programming support to extend functionality of the OnBase Platform.
• Analyze business processes to identify and implement automation of repetitive tasks and scripted job aids.
• Develop APIs between multiple systems.
• Peer review and test new and revised programmatic functionality to ensure quality.
• Coordinate departmental changes and create training material to support OnBase implementations.

PositionTitle: Onbase Developer

Location: University of Maryland Global Campus, 3501 University Blvd. East, Adelphi, MD 20783

Period of Performance: 1 year

40 hours per week (no overtime).

Position Summary

UMGC requires an OnBase Developer with senior experience to perform software development, support, and testing services in a remote work environment. The resource will report to the Director, Enterprise Document Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide programming support to extend functionality of the OnBase Platform
• Analyze business processes to identify and implement automation of repetitive tasks
• and scripted job aids
• Develop APIs between multiple systems.
• Peer review and test new and revised programmatic functionality as requested by another team member to verify visual and functional quality
• Understand business process and requirements to provide technical solutions that meet customer needs
• Research and suggest new approaches and technologies
• Work with internal and external customers and clients to clearly define requirements, uncover business rules and processes, and create user stories
• Work with vendor resources to ensure technical issues are evaluated to root cause
• Implement system enhancements related to OnBase configuration
• Develop and maintain workflow solutions in the OnBase platform
• Coordinate departmental requested changes in the OnBase system including initial analysis to implementation of configuration changes needed to support new business processes
• Create initial training material to support implemented departmental changes

Requirements

• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science (or equivalent); 3+ years of OnBase development/configuration experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in OnBase workflow/configuration, SQL.NET/C#/JavaScript; experience with APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Business Skills: Strong process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation abilities; experience supporting end-users and creating training materials.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills; detail-oriented and quality-focused.

Preferred: OnBase/Hyland certifications; experience in higher ed, healthcare, or similar industries.
