Job summary

Clackamas County's Social Services Division seeks an Oregon Needs Assessment (ONA) Assessor to identify support needs and determine Level of Care for individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. The role emphasizes equitable access, independent work, and collaboration with community partners.

The candidate should be organized, customer-focused and able to complete assessments within required timelines, with hybrid on-site/telework options in Oregon.

Qualifications

• Must meet Oregon Needs Assessor standards (OAR 411-320, 411-425).
• Bachelor's degree in behavioral or related field; or equivalent experience in human services.
• Experience in conducting assessments or case management is valued.

Responsibilities

• Complete all parts of the Oregon Needs Assessment (ONA) within 30 days: file review, interview, observation, and entry into eXPRS.
• Complete initial training and shadowing to become certified ONA assessor and maintain certification.
• Travel daily for in-person assessments and coordinate with service partners.
• Review ONA field data and respond to required corrections with QA trainers.
• Maintain monthly tracking of ONA scheduling and completion.
