Job summary

Andrenam is seeking a Test Engineer Intern to help move sensing and autonomy systems from the lab into the water. This hands-on role involves testing, field operations, and regular mentorship as you work closely with engineers on real marine deployments.

You’ll gain experience testing hardware in harsh maritime environments, including on boats, and you’ll contribute to improving procedures and equipment for future deployments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in mechanical, electrical, ocean engineering or mechatronics.
• Hands-on lab/coursework experience with hardware testing and instrumentation.
• Ability to work in real-world marine environments and on boats.
• Clear communication and collaboration in team settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing and validation of sensing and autonomy systems for water deployments.
• Support field operations and troubleshooting during on-water tests and coastal deployments.
• Document test procedures, configurations and results for knowledge transfer.
