Job summary

Andrenam in Torrance, CA is seeking a Test Engineer Intern to help move sensing and autonomy systems from lab to sea. You will perform hands-on testing, validate performance on water, and own scoped projects such as test tooling or procedures with mentorship.

You'll work alongside engineers, gain real-world experience with hardware in marine environments, and contribute to field operations and test documentation for ongoing deployments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Testing and Validation: run pre-deployment checks, lab tests, and on-water tests.
• Field Operations and Troubleshooting: support deployment/recovery, diagnose issues both lab and field.
• Collaboration and Growth: work with engineers, document procedures and results.
